MY COMPUTER IS DEAAAAAAD!

I just wanted to let you all know that last weekend my computer said CRASHBOOMBANG and is pretty much dead now. So, you won't be seeing me much around here for a short while. I still have internet access at school, which means I won't disappear completely.

The saddest part of this is that I lost all of my files, including over 700 oekakis and lots of other drawings as well. Sigh. Sucks to be me. It's a good thing I have a few galleries in the internet, so at least some of my drawings are saved.

Well, I'll be back as soon as I can buy a new computer. o/

Gah! Losing your files really sucks! D: It's high on the top list of most terrible things that can happen to a nerd. Right next to the end of the world, siigh. I hope you'll get a new computer soon, sweetie!

You're sure that your hard drive was destroyed along with the rest of the machine? There's always a chance for recovering the files, even if the computer wouldn't otherwise work at all. 700 pictures is a lot of work, worth much more than a new computer.

This has happened to me too, after that I learned to make at least some sort of backups. Right now my situation could be somewhat better in that regard, though. At least the internet galleries always save some of the stuff.

Actually it seems the problem wasn't in the hard drive, so there's a change that I can get my files back. Good thing some people know more about computers than I do, because I had already lost almost all hope of getting back everything on that computer. : D

I think I've learned my lesson and will start making backups from now on, heh. Good thing I also had some of my files saved on my domain besides just internet galleries.
